Chef's Butter Chicken had come to Caliph Digital with an outdated website with no backend access for the owner to add and edit the menu items, which are always changing for a growing restaurant like themselves. They wanted something new and fresh along with having that access to the menu items.
A design was agreed upon which focuses highly on a traditional Indian feel - in the colours, fonts, and images used. Along with that, restaurant dishes were displayed wherever possible to give future customers a taste of the restaurant through their screens.
The custom CMS backend built for the client allowed them to actively change the menu items as desired. Another system was built to allow additional gallery images to be added to keep the website fresh and dated. Delivery service apps (Doordash, SkipTheDishes) were also integrated to allow customers to make delivery orders straight from the website.
